Swappa ESN Check

Swappa has launched a new, free ESN Check (Beta) service. http://swappa.com/esn

Use the service to validate with carriers to ensure ESN / IMEI / MEID is clean for activation. Currently works with Verizon, Sprint, and a few other (CDMA) carriers. Still not much help for GSM carriers, but I'm working on it.

Swappa.com has gone Mobile

Swappa.com now has a mobile-friendly version of the website! While I admit it is long overdue, it sure is cool. Visit http://swappa.com from your Android device and see it in action.

For anyone who might care, the mobile site was built using jQuery Mobile.

Edwards has never found the sites' policies regarding phones' conditions stringent enough — "the wild west," he calls eBay and craigslist — and grew weary of having to inquire about the specifics of phones he planned to purchase.
